NMLS

Nationwide Multistate Licensing System. The federal registry every Loan Officer must hold a license through. F5 sponsors you in your target state.

SAFE Exam

The national MLO exam every Loan Officer takes to get licensed. BrokerX preps you to pass on the first try.

bps (basis points)

Mortgage industry slang for hundredths of a percent. 50 bps = 0.5%. On a $400K loan, that’s $2,000. On an $800K loan, $4,000.
